Basketball Recap: Clallam Bay Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Clallam Bay was the 0-0 winner over Northwest Christian when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Bruins were just a bucket shy of victory on Tuesday and fell 46-45 to the Wolverines. The loss was the Bruins' first of the season.

Jack Vahey was nothing short of spectacular for Northwest Christian: he dropped a double-double with 24 points and 11 boards. Vahey is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in each of the last four games he's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Easton Payment, who posted six points and seven boards.

Having lost for the first time this season, Clallam Bay fell to 4-1. As for Northwest Christian, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Clallam Bay has already played their next matchup, a 74-43 loss against Neah Bay on the 12th. As for Northwest Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 54-52 defeat against Evergreen Lutheran on the 11th.
