Hardee is a perfect 9-0 against Manatee since February of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Wildcats will challenge the Hurricanes at 7:00 p.m. Hardee has given up an average of 10.8 runs per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Hardee came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against Lake Wales, falling 17-0. The matchup marked the first time this year in which the Wildcats were not able to get on the board.

Meanwhile, Manatee lost 16-1 to East Lake on Tuesday. The Hurricanes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Manatee saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Baelee Garland, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Hardee has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season. Those defeats can't be blamed on the team's hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.2 runs over those games. As for Manatee, their loss dropped their record down to 4-14.

Hardee was able to grind out a solid win over Manatee in their previous matchup back in March, winning 10-6. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wildcats since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
