Volleyball Recap: Roy Takes a Loss

Roy came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Wasatch Wasps, falling 3-0. If the Royals were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Wasps when the teams met back in August of 2018, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Roy has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-14 record this season. As for Wasatch, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-10 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. After both having extra time off, Roy and Fremont will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:30 p.m. on the 21st. As for Wasatch, they will head out to square off against Pleasant Grove at 6:30 p.m. on the 21st.
