Volleyball Recap: Edcouch-Elsa Gets the Win

Edcouch-Elsa won the last time they faced Porter and things went their way on Saturday too. The Yellowjackets came out on top against the Cowboys by a score of 3-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Yellowjackets.

Edcouch-Elsa was especially dominant in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 24-26, 25-18, 25-18.

Madison Solis paced Edcouch-Elsa's offense, picking up 25 kills. Solis got some help from Addison Gonzalez and her 30 assists. Timara Leal controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Edcouch-Elsa's record now sits at 22-16. As for Porter, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-23.

Looking ahead, Edcouch-Elsa will host Edinburg North at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Porter does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
