Baseball Game Preview: Uintah Utes vs. Mountain View Bruins

For the second straight game, Uintah will face off against Mountain View. The Utes are taking a road trip to challenge the Bruins at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Uintah is coming into the game hot, having won their last six games.

While Uintah's victory against Mountain View wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Utes sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 14-12 win over the Bruins on Tuesday.

For Mountain View's part, Beck Benson stepped up to lead a balanced group of hitters: he scored two runs while going 3-for-5. Another player making a difference was Caden Imes, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

Uintah's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-12. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.3 runs over those games. As for Mountain View, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-11.
