Baseball Recap: Highland Comes Up Short

Highland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They came up short against the Kittitas Coyotes, falling 30-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Coyotes this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 27-0 on Friday.

Highland's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Kittitas, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 13-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Highland will face off against Morton/White Pass at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Kittitas, they will square off against Columbia at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Columbia has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.63 runs per game on average), something Kittitas will no doubt try to take advantage of.
