Football Recap: Dooly County Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Dooly County fell victim to Wilcox County and their airtight defense on Friday. They took a blow against the Patriots, falling 41-0. Having soared to a lofty 39 points in the game before, the Bobcats' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

It was another big night for Melvin McAdoo, who rushed for 108 yards and two TDs for Wilcox County. That's the most rushing touchdowns McAdoo has posted since back in August. Billy Evans was another key back, rushing for 63 yards and one score on only seven carries.

Dooly County's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Wilcox County, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-2.

Looking ahead, Dooly County will head out to challenge Treutlen at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Wilcox County, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Wheeler County at 7:30 p.m. on the 24th.
