Volleyball Game Preview: North Broward Prep Eagles vs. St. John Paul II Academy Eagles

North Broward Prep will face off against St. John Paul II Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. St. John Paul II Academy took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on North Broward Prep, who comes in off a win.

North Broward Prep had won two straight games and Destiny Wiggins did her part to make it three on Monday. The Eagles blew past Benjamin 3-0 with plenty of help from Wiggins, who had 11 digs and two aces. She has been hot, having posted 11 or more digs the last five times she's played.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-16, 25-20.

Meanwhile, St. John Paul II Academy unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-match winning streak on Wednesday. They fell 3-1 to Calvary Christian Academy.

St. John Paul II Academy started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-28, 25-22, 25-16, 26-24.

North Broward Prep's victory bumped their record up to 15-2. As for St. John Paul II Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-6.

North Broward Prep was able to grind out a solid win over St. John Paul II Academy in their previous matchup back in September of 2024, winning 2-0.
