Soccer Recap: Somerset Berkley Regional Takes a Loss

Somerset Berkley Regional was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 5-1 to the Greater New Bedford RVT Bears. While losing is never fun, Somerset Berkley Regional can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts soccer rankings (they are ranked 117th, while Greater New Bedford RVT are ranked 16th).

Somerset Berkley Regional's loss dropped their record down to 7-6-1. As for Greater New Bedford RVT, their win bumped their record up to 10-2.

Coincidentally, Somerset Berkley Regional and Greater New Bedford RVT will both be playing Old Rochester Regional the next time they take the pitch. The Raiders will head out to face the Bulldogs at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Bears will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
