Woodward Academy had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Tuesday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Norcross Blue Devils. For the War Eagles, this counts as revenge for the 2-1 win the Blue Devils walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2019.

Woodward Academy never let Norcross on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-15.

Woodward Academy's victory bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Norcross, their defeat ended a 16-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 5-4.

Coming up, Woodward Academy will be taking part in a tournament against Starr's Mill at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Norcross, they will be playing at home against East Coweta at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
