Basketball Recap: Foard Tigers vs. East Lincoln Mustangs
Foard was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 81-41 loss at the hands of the East Lincoln Mustangs. The Tigers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-14.
Several Tigers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Noah Hedrick, who posted six points and six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Malachi Mcknight, who had 11 points.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead East Lincoln to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jaxon Dollar, who went 9 of 13 on his way to 20 points in addition to seven rebounds and five assists. Foard's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for East Lincoln, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-3.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Foard will venture away from home to face off against North Lincoln at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
