Volleyball Recap: Dora Takes a Loss

If Dora was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Floyd last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Coyotes lost 3-0 to the Elida Tigers on Tuesday. The Coyotes have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-9, 25-9.

Dora's defeat dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Elida, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 17-2.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Dora is set to square off against their familiar foe Gateway Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Elida will face off against rival Floyd at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
