Basketball Recap: Greater Cabarrus S Find Success

Greater Cabarrus S won the last time they faced Covenant Classical and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Greater Cabarrus S Stallions slipped by the Covenant Classical Warriors 35-34. The Stallions didn't have much to brag about two games back, but this win makes it their second in a row.

Covenant Classical lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Ava Gromis, who posted nine points. Another player making a difference was Amelia Miller, who earned seven points.

Greater Cabarrus S's victory bumped their record up to 6-15. As for Covenant Classical, they now have a losing record at 5-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Greater Cabarrus S will face off against South Guilford HomeSchool at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. South Guilford HomeSchool will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Greater Cabarrus S surely won't give up without a fight. As for Covenant Classical, they will head out on the road to take on SouthLake Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Covenant Classical has insisted on making their lastthree contests complete nail-biters, turning in a record of 1-2 during that stretch of close contests.
