Basketball Recap: Derryfield Gets the Win

It's playoff time, and Derryfield had no trouble coming through when it counted. They secured a 60-55 W over the Oyster River Bobcats on Friday. The Cougars have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bobcats, too.

Derryfield's win bumped their record up to 15-3. As for Oyster River, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Derryfield will venture away from home to face off against Pelham at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Oyster River, they will take on Hanover at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Oyster River is facing Hanover at the right time seeing as Hanover is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
