The Mifflin Punchers will head out to challenge the St. Charles Cardinals at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Mifflin is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 53 points per game this season.

Last Thursday, Mifflin beat Marion-Franklin 71-64. The win continues a trend for the Punchers in their matchups with the Red Devils: they've now won four in a row.

Mifflin's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but David McClunley led the charge by going 6-for-12 to rack up 21 points. What's more, McClunley also posted a 57% three-point shooting accuracy, which is the highest he's achieved since back in December of 2023. Another player making a difference was Adrian Quirino Hernadez, who posted 11 points along with seven rebounds and four steals.

Mifflin smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive boards in seven consecutive contests.

Meanwhile, St. Charles came up short against Dublin Jerome on Tuesday and fell 45-34. The Cardinals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

St. Charles' loss dropped their record down to 8-14. As for Mifflin, their victory bumped their record up to 10-12.
