Flag Football Recap: Albertville Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After flying high against Anniston on Monday, Albertville came back down to earth. The Aggies took a 12-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Gadsden City Titans on Thursday. The Aggies were not able to make up for their defeat to the Titans from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Henley Kilpatrick threw for 151 yards and one touchdown. Ella Brown was her top target, picking up 71 receiving yards.

Albertville's loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 7-2. As for Gadsden City, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Albertville will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Pinson Valley at 6:00 p.m. on October 6. As for Gadsden City, they will head out to challenge Pell City at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
