Recap: University City vs. Scripps Ranch
University City faced off against Scripps Ranch for the first time this season, and University City walked away the winners. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over Scripps Ranch on Monday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as University City also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2022.
They were led to victory by the tag-team duo of
Ryan Kossman and
Everado Diaz de Leon, who scored.
University City's win bumped their record up to 5-7-2. As for Scripps Ranch, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-2-7.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. University City will face off against Coronado at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Scripps Ranch, they will head out on the road to challenge Hoover at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. Hoover is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 3.1 goals per game.
