Basketball Recap: Faith Academy Takes a Loss

Faith Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They took a blow against the St. Paul Cardinals, falling 68-30. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 64-19 last Tuesday.

Faith Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for St. Paul, they have been performing well recently as they've won 15 of their last 18 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 18-9 record this season.

Faith Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. St. Paul will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Legacy Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on February 18th. One thing working in St. Paul's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six contests.
