Swansboro had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Lejeune Devilpups. That's more bragging rights for the Pirates, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 22-25, 25-14, 25-18.

Reese Hislop paced Swansboro's offense, picking up nine kills. Hislop got some help from Payton Hislop and her 17 assists. Lily Whited controlled things from the service line, finishing with seven aces.

Swansboro's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Lejeune, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Swansboro has already played their next match, a 3-1 win against South Lenoir on the 20th. As for Lejeune, they will be playing in front of their home fans against East Duplin at 6:00 p.m. on the 28th.
