Basketball Recap: St. Patrick Academy Takes a Loss

St. Patrick Academy played a tough match on Wednesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They came up short against the Central Falls Warriors, falling 63-37. The Padres haven't had much luck with the Warriors recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Jamilson De Pina Almeida continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Central Falls, dropping a double-double on 20 points and 21 boards. De Pina Almeida is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down nine or more in the last 11 games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Leandro Rojas Vargas, who posted ten points.

St. Patrick Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Central Falls, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-10.
