Softball Game Preview: Perry Central Commodores vs. Tell City Marksmen

Perry Central is 2-8 against Tell City since April of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Commodores will venture away from home to challenge the Marksmen at 5:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Perry Central is headed into Monday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Saturday. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of Providence.

Meanwhile, Tell City lost 10-3 to North Posey on Friday. The Marksmen haven't had much luck with the Vikings recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Tell City's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Perry Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.
