Baseball Recap: Mansueto Comes Up Short

Mansueto lost against Muchin College Prep back in May of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Leopards fell 15-12 to the Mountain Lions.

Nicholas Resendiz made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and one run. Alfredo Santana was another key player, going 1-for-2 with three stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.

Mansueto's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 2-5. As for Muchin College Prep, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1.

Mansueto wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 19-5 loss against Hancock on the 17th. As for Muchin College Prep, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 19-2 win against Rowe-Clark on the 19th.
