Baseball Game Preview: Hundred Hornets vs. Magnolia Blue Eagles

Hundred is 0-4 against Magnolia since April of 2023 but things could change on Monday. The Hornets are taking a road trip to take on the Blue Eagles at 5:00 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Hundred is headed into Monday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fifth straight game on Monday. They came up short against Paden City, falling 10-0. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Hornets were not able to get on the board.

Meanwhile, Saturday just wasn't the day for Magnolia's offense. They lost 10-0 to Tyler on Saturday. The loss continues a trend for the Blue Eagles in their meetings with the Knights: they've now lost nine in a row.

Magnolia's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Hundred, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.

Hundred might still be hurting after the 21-1 defeat they got from Magnolia in their previous matchup back in March. Can the Hornets avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
