Basketball Recap: Lawson Find Success

Maplewood came into Monday's match looking for another win against Lawson, but Chandler Galloway wouldn't allow it. The Lawson Lightning took their contest on Monday with ease, bagging a 69-42 victory over the Maplewood Panthers with plenty of help from Galloway, who on his way to 24 points and seven boards. That makes it seven consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Lawson's points.

Another player making a difference was Hudson Owens, who posted 12 points. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points.

Lawson's win bumped their record up to 18-12. As for Maplewood, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-14.

Coming up, Lawson will venture away from home to square off against White House at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in White House's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three games. Maplewood does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
