Softball Recap: Five Straight Road Wins for Lake Linden-Hubbell

Lake Linden-Hubbell proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by 11) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Gogebic [Johnston/Wakefield] Miners 2-1. The Lakes haven't had any issues with the Miners recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Lake Linden-Hubbell's victory was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Emily Jokela, who went 3-for-4 with one home run and one double.
