Civic Memorial had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17.5 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Highland Bulldogs, sneaking past 49-47. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 43-30 back in December of 2024.

Civic Memorial's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 23-6. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.7 points over those games. As for Highland, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 14-16.
