Hopewell-Loudon won the last time they faced Seneca East and things went their way  on Friday too. The Chieftains narrowly escaped with a  win as the  squad sidled past the Tigers  7-6. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for the Chieftains.
  Braylon Martinez was  excellent,  going 1-for-2 with one  run, one  double,  and one  RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of  Cohen Sendelbach, who  went 1-for-4 with two  stolen bases and one  run.
Hopewell-Loudon's record now sits at 20-6. As for Seneca East, they have  traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-15 record  this season.
 Hopewell-Loudon will venture away from home to  challenge Old Fort  at 2:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Seneca East does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
