Basketball Game Preview: Western Reserve Academy Pioneers vs. St. Joseph Academy Jaguars

The Western Reserve Academy Pioneers will head out on the road to take on the St. Joseph Academy Jaguars at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Western Reserve Academy will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

On Sunday, Western Reserve Academy needed a bit of extra time to put away Darrow. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Ducks, sneaking past 65-63. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Pioneers have posted since March 7, 2024.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for St. Joseph Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They strolled past Lutheran East with points to spare on Saturday, taking the game 55-41.

Western Reserve Academy has also been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.2 points per game. As for St. Joseph Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 12-8.
