Basketball Recap: Jefferson County Snaps Three-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Jefferson County entered their matchup against Science Hill on Monday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Jefferson County Patriots received a blow as they fell 69-54 to the Science Hill Hilltoppers. If the Patriots were looking for revenge after losing 56-37 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Jefferson County's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-5. As for Science Hill, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 8-2.

Jefferson County will head out on the road to take on South-Doyle at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Science Hill and Ensworth will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Science Hill knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past six contests -- so hopefully Ensworth likes a good challenge.
