Basketball Recap: King's Academy Find Success

King's Academy won the last time they faced Emmanuel Christian, and Gavin Ruberg did his part to make sure it happened again. King's Academy took their contest on Friday with ease, bagging a 71-18 victory over the Emmanuel Christian Eagles thanks in part to Ruberg, who almost dropped a double-double on 34 points and nine boards. That's the most rebounds he has posted since back in February.

King's Academy's win bumped their record up to 4-8. As for Emmanuel Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 6-2.

King's Academy will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Varsity Opponent at 6:30 p.m. on January 9, 2025. Emmanuel Christian also won't see the court for a while: their next matchup is against Heritage Hall Christian at 5:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
