After only one run in their last match, Century made sure to put some runs up on the board against Grant on Tuesday. The Jaguars put the hurt on the Generals with a sharp 15-3 win. The Jaguars have beaten the Generals the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Generals has come to flipping the script.
Michelle Katke was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed five innings while giving up three earned runs off eight hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 2-for-5.
In other batting news, Avery Gonzalez was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.
