Menlo-Atherton pushed their record up to 8-0-2 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three contests. As for Sequoia, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5-1 record this season.
