Basketball Recap: Carlisle Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Carlisle Christian Academy was the 51-48 winner over Red Lion Christian when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Carlisle Christian Academy Knights took a blow against the Red Lion Christian Swordsmen on Tuesday, falling 54-22. The Knights were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 32-10.

They used a three-pronged attack on offense: Collin Wevodau, Parker Mathes, and Brady Tuckey posted five points each.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Red Lion Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Luke Schock, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten boards. The dominant performance also gave Schock a new career-high in blocks (four). Colton Zrinski was another key player, going 5 for 10 en route to 14 points and three steals.

Carlisle Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Red Lion Christian, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-3.

Carlisle Christian Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 45-37 defeat against Varsity Opponent on the 30th. Red Lion Christian has also already played their next game, a 77-57 win against Blue Mountain Christian on the 30th.
