Volleyball Recap: Kickapoo Comes Up Short

After flying high against Weston on Tuesday, Kickapoo came back down to earth. The Panthers came up short against the Wauzeka-Steuben Hornets on Thursday, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hornets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Kickapoo took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-21, 25-23.

Kickapoo has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's still a better percentage than their 5-17 record this season. As for Wauzeka-Steuben, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-5.

Coming up, Kickapoo will face off against Iowa-Grant at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Wauzeka-Steuben does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
