Soccer Recap: Cumberland Falls Short Against Ranked La Salle Academy

Cumberland faced La Salle Academy in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. The Clippers fell 2-0 to the Rams. If Cumberland were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to La Salle Academy when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Having lost for the first time this season, Cumberland fell to 4-1-2. As for La Salle Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cumberland will host Tolman at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Cumberland are facing Tolman at the right time seeing as Tolman are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for La Salle Academy, they will welcome North Kingstown at 6:30 p.m. on the 30th.
