Northside Christian waltzed into their contest on Friday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Strawberry Crest Chargers.

Aaliyah Cancellari paced Northside Christian's offense, picking up eight kills. Cancellari got some help from Elle Smith and her 20 assists. Cancellari was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Despite the loss, Strawberry Crest still got an impressive performance from Zoe Bullock, who had seven assists and three aces.

Northside Christian's win bumped their record up to 10-7. As for Strawberry Crest, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-9.

Coincidentally, Northside Christian and Strawberry Crest will both be playing Florida State University High School the next time they take the court. The Mustangs will head out to face the Seminoles at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Chargers will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
