Norco dropped down to 3-7 on Tuesday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. They took a 59-42 bruising from the Shadow Hills Knights. While losing is never fun, the Cougars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 671st, while the Knights are ranked 221st).

As for Shadow Hills, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-2. That's two games straight that they have won by exactly 17 points.

Shadow Hills' victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jacob Jauregui, who dropped a double-double with 19 points and 12 rebounds. Those 12 boards gave Jauregui a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Nate Williams, who went 5-for-10 en route to 13 points and six rebounds.

Norco has already played their next game, a 58-37 defeat against Yucaipa on the 11th. As for Shadow Hills, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 43-38 win against Upland on the 11th.
