Volleyball Recap: Lewistown Comes Up Short

Lewistown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Augusta Southeastern Suns. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Indians of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-21.

Lewistown's defeat dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Augusta Southeastern, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 10-0.

Coming up, Lewistown will host Rushville-Industry at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Augusta Southeastern, they will face off against Barry Western at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
