Basketball Game Preview: Hudson Falls Tigers vs. Gloversville Huskies/Dragons

Hudson Falls hasn't had much luck against Gloversville recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Hudson Falls Tigers will face off against the Gloversville Huskies/Dragons at 7:00 p.m. One thing working in Hudson Falls' favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last seven contests.

On Friday, Hudson Falls earned a 56-46 win over South Glens Falls. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 61st, while the Bulldogs are ranked 449th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Gloversville was just a bucket shy of victory on Tuesday and fell 46-45 to Broadalbin-Perth. The Huskies/Dragons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hudson Falls' victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-2. As for Gloversville, their loss dropped their record down to 5-5.

Hudson Falls came up short against Gloversville when the teams last played back in December of 2023, falling 66-61. Can Hudson Falls avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
