Century's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They walked away with a 23-19 victory over the Magnolia Sentinels. The Centurions' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Century's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-7. As for Magnolia, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.

Looking ahead, Century will square off against Portola at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Magnolia, they will host Estancia at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
