If Dresden was feeling good fresh off their 16-1 takedown of South Fulton last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Lions fell 9-4 to the Stewart County Rebels on Friday. The Lions' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Emma Parham made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with three RBI and one double. Another player making a difference was Allyssa Wilson, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Dresden's loss dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Stewart County, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.

Dresden wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 19-4 defeat against Henry County on the 11th. As for Stewart County, they will take on Clarksville at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
