Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Bailee Larhmer and Olivia Mckenzie Lead Oak Hill to Victory

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against South Webster, Oak Hill was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. Everything went their way against the East Tartans as they made off with a 3-0 victory.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Oak Hill took every set by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-13, 25-10.

Oak Hill was led to victory by Olivia Mckenzie and Bailee Larhmer. Mckenzie had 20 assists and four digs, while Larhmer had 11 digs and one assist. Mckenzie is crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 18 every time she's taken the court this season.

Oak Hill's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for East, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Oak Hill will head out on the road to take on Portsmouth West at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for East, they will be playing at home against West Union at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
