Volleyball Recap: Oak Hill Wins Going Away Against East

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against South Webster, Oak Hill was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They blew past the East Tartans 3-0.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Oak Hill took every set by at least 11 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-13, 25-10.

Emma Figgins paced Oak Hill's offense, picking up 11 kills. Figgins got some help from Olivia Mckenzie and her 25 assists.

Oak Hill's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for East, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Coming up, Oak Hill is taking a road trip to square off against Portsmouth West at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for East, they will be playing at home against West Union at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
