After low-scoring totals in their previous three match, Marshalltown brought some dynamite into their most recent contest. They were the clear victors by a 15-4 margin over the Lincoln Railsplitters on Monday. The win was some much needed relief for the Bobcats as it spelled an end to their six-game losing streak.

Marshalltown's victory bumped their record up to 3-7. As for Lincoln, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Marshalltown beat the Railsplitters by a score of 11-3 later that day.
