Basketball Recap: East Stroudsburg North Comes Up Short

East Stroudsburg North suffered their closest defeat since January 7th on Saturday. They fell just short of the Louis E. Dieruff Huskies by a score of 56-53. The Timberwolves were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Huskies apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January.

Despite the loss, East Stroudsburg North still got an impressive performance from James Payne, who shot 78% from the field to rack up 18 points and six rebounds. Payne is also crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Brandon Jeffers was another key player, putting up 12 points and three steals.

East Stroudsburg North now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Louis E. Dieruff, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.
