Dundalk couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They suffered a tough 16-3 defeat at the hands of the Franklin Indians on Thursday. Dundalk was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Franklin apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2023.
Michael Baez made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-2.
On Franklin's side, Seth Wright made a big impact no matter where he played.
