Football Game Preview: Del Sol Jaguars vs. Carpinteria Warriors

The Del Sol Jaguars will square off against the Carpinteria Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Del Sol has given up an average of 42.9 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Del Sol is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They fell 35-30 to Channel Islands on Friday.

Despite the defeat, Del Sol got top-tier performance from Jayden Ramirez, who threw for 165 yards and a pair of TDs, and also rushed for 63 yards and one score on only seven carries.

Meanwhile, Carpinteria played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by Grace 52-20. The Warriors were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 34-7.

Carpinteria's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 2-4. As for Del Sol, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-7.
