The American Heritage Stallions will venture away from home to take on the Lake Worth Christian Defenders at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The last three games American Heritage has played have been within one set, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

American Heritage took Palm Beach Central into a fifth set where they got it done with a two-point win. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-18, 21-25, 17-25, 16-14.

American Heritage's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Rachel Miller, who had nine digs, three kills, and two aces, and Scarlet Gurevich, who had six kills, two blocks, and two aces. That high mark didn't come from nowhere: Gurevich now had five or more in the last seven games she's played.

Meanwhile, Lake Worth Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to Seacrest Country Day.
