Softball Recap: Shenandoah Zeps vs. Frontier Cougars
Sadly, Shenandoah is still looking for their first win of the season after seven games. They wound up on the wrong side of a rough 10-0 walloping at the hands of the Frontier Cougars on Tuesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Shenandoah of the 8-4 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2019.
Shenandoah has fallen quite a ways from their 15-4 record last season and are now at 0-6-1. As for Frontier, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.
Shenandoah will head out on the road to take on Shadyside at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Frontier, they will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Bridgeport at 5:00 p.m. Bridgeport is coming into the matchup with four straight losses on the road, meaning Frontier will have to defend against a team hungry for a victory.
