Volleyball Recap: Miller Falls to Eastern in First Game of Season

Miller had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They came up short against the Eastern Eagles, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Falcons of the 3-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-17, 25-11.

Eastern found their leader in freshman Emeri Lloyd, who had 19 digs and three assists.

Miller has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Wellston on the 19th. As for Eastern, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Waterford on the 21st.
